Sisterhood of the Red Cheeks #2: Mage's Test Results

It’s tough being an apprentice mage when your magic tutor is 1) court wizard to Viscount Falleron, one of the most powerful nobles below the king, 2) professor emeritus and former headmaster of the most prestigious magical college in the kingdom, and 3) your grandfather. Not only does he have all the authority to spank young Biyatrix whenever he deems necessary, but the skill to do it magically without any serious effort. Despite her considerable natural gifts, it seems like Mage spent too much time goofing off this week instead of studying for her test.

Mage is your standard wizard/black mage/elementalist/fireball-and-lightning-bolt-type magic user. Mostly offensive, buffing, and utility spellcaster. In this world, after sufficient study a mage's eyes will permanently change to take on the image of magic circles.

I thought about not giving the characters in this series actual names, but decided against it. However, they still will be referred to as their class more often than not.
