Pinny Lane is babysitting Rumble for some extra cash when he defies her instructions to clean his room. Afterwards he guesses she's called the "baby sitter " because she can sit down, but he definitely can't!

Spike has been in seclusion for hours, tidying up his room and getting ahead on his summer reading. Occasionally dipping into the snacks he's secreted away that he thinks his mom doesn't know about (she does but chooses to ignore it) while making sure to discretely dispose of the wrappers since she said no supper. Half of him dreads the coming of 9 o'clock, and the other half wishes it would hurry up so he could get it over with. Finally the chimes from the downstairs grandfather clock announce the arrival of his mother, and her slipper. Each swat on his already-sore bum feels like he just dropped cheek-first into a cactus patch.

Having learned from a sobbing Spike that his mother is out running errands but will be home soon, Scribble takes them inside. She sends him to a corner with his cheeks out as she towels herself dry. And when Velvet inevitably returns, her youngest gets sent to bed without supper and an ominous promise for later...

Spike's new fun summer activity is soaking girls with the water hose as they bike past his house so he can get a glimpse of their underwear and sometimes even more. Scribble Dee doesn't appreciate this, nor his attempts to pass it off as just "helping [her] cool off!" Far from being grateful, the annoyed girl catches him, flips him over her knee, yanks down his shorts, and gives him a good spanking on his bare backside.

It's a lovely warm day in Canterlot, nice and sunny. Cookie thinks it's a fine time to work on getting an all-over tan in the backyard, regardless of her husband's decrees on the matter. Quite independently, Strike thinks it's a fine time to see if any of the ladies are once again doing just that. Neither of them are known for their great decision-making. Strike got a peek, but also one very hot bottom. Stay tuned for part 2, where we find out if Cookie is also going to feel the heat of summer.  I completely spaced on the anniversary! I have been super busy. It actually fell on Mother's Day, so I managed to get the holiday pic out in time, but somehow it escaped my notice that the blog was now 4 years old.
