Thankful for Pillows
It's the first family Thanksgiving with Twilight Sparkle's new fiancé Flash Sentry, and Flurry Heart is her usual self. Constantly in and out of the kitchen, playing her music too loud on her phone, trying to change the channel when the guys are watching the parade or the game, even clumsily attempting to flirt with Flash (which amuses Sparkle immensely). But when she snitches some of the dark meat and the pie topping again after being warned twice, Cadance has had enough. Fortunately there's a wooden spoon right at hand for Mom's Special Recipe for Hot Cross Buns!
Flash was helping Velvet with the green beans, but now doesn't know what to do. Velvet takes it in stride, of course (while also enjoying sidling up to her hunky future son-in-law!).
Sparkle, similarly unfazed, just sips her wine.
Spike indulges in the usual Schadenfreude he and his "cousin"/playmate get whenever one of them gets their bottom blistered and the other doesn't.
Night Light is concerned, both about his granddaughter's little bum and whether this will delay dinner.
And Shining Armor? His team just went up by 17 with 5 minutes left to play, he's good.
When it comes time for the toast, little Flurry is already feeling rather "toasted".

Also: wow, Cadance's ass looks amazing in those tight jeans. And ngl, so does Velvet's. And Sparkle in her snug black slacks.
