Platinum Princesses Ch 2 pt 2: Persuasion
Applejack could scarcely believe her ears. Sure, money was tight at the farm, but stripping?
"What's wrong? You and my sis have both posed for PlayColt!" her cousin whined.
"Yeah, 'cuz no one else was there except the photographer."
"Auntie Brown Betty works at that coffee stand! Which I wish I'd known before," Babs said, rubbing her backside at the uncomfortable memory.
"Still no one there, not like at a club. Where they'll be 'spectin ya to grind on their laps an' more."
Babs grinned. "What's the problem with that? Sounds fun to me!" She leaned forward, pressing her advantage. "You need money. Fast. There's no better way to do it without getting into more trouble. Maybe even make enough for you to go back to school, too."
The farmgirl glanced out the window. Babs had won. "Ah'll think about it." Then she pointed hard at her little sister. "But you ain't doin' none o' this. I won't let ya, so ya'd best ferget it, missy!"
"An Ah won't let ya do anythin' without me!"
"As long as yer livin' under my roof -"
"As long as Ah'm helpin' ta pay fer that roof, and fer mah schoolin', Ah'm an adult an' will do as Ah please!"
AJ stared. She knew that look, that set of the shoulders, that unmovable stubbornness. She'd made it herself often enough. She threw up her hands in resignation. "Faine. But the firs' sign a' trouble, Ah'm pullin' us all out, ya'hear?"
