2022 Year in Review

 With the year winding down, it feels appropriate to look back on some of the pics I've created in this first year of my blog. In particular, pics I'm especially proud of for various reasons. Those of you who have been paying attention might notice I like specific shots and reuse them frequently; for spankings I'll draw attention to the bottoms before, during and after, or I'll give an over-the-shoulder/quasi-first person view, or a closeup of the hand/implement about to descend; for sex, I'll of course focus on butts, boobs, pussies, and cocks, though I do try to get some male torso shots as well to give the ladies (and others for whom this may be of interest) their deserved fanservice. And in all pic sets, I do focus shots of faces. So, there will be more than a few in this little wrap-up of the face, since I think that is one of the things I've gotten pretty good at. Thus, in no particular order, the 2022 Year in Review!

Speaking of faces. I knew when I first conceived of this recap that this pic needed to be included; the look of expectant dread, knowing that something bad was about to happen any moment now but unable to gauge exactly when...I was really proud of this one.

Seven awkward, frenetic minutes of teenage passion as all their friends giggle and gossip outside.

These two go together. With any static medium, it is always a struggle to really convey action. In this set, I think I managed to capture the flow as a naughty girl gets her panties taken down to receive a hard spanking on her bare bottom.

Another one where I think I did especially well on the action side. The leg kicking, the dodging, the embarrassment at having tried to flirt out of a ticket only to have it backfire, and of course the palm that stings even through those tight jeans...

The look of joy on Cadance's face while making love to her husband really gets me.

Both her facial expression and the way Sunset cocks her hips to the side I think really come together in this photoshoot inspired by 30s/40s/early 50s noir.

Now here is a woman who knows what she wants and knows how to get it. She wants that D, so she's gettin' that D!

This one I like just because of how unorthodox it is. Magical abilities and other elements of fantasy allow for a far greater range of possibilities, and not just in the arena of "kill dragon, save kingdom"; magic can give even a tutor punishing his student/granddaughter a radically new twist.

This exact moment, with her breasts slightly uneven, and relishing both the attention she's getting and the pleasure she's giving that combine to make Moon Dancer feel strangely empowered...I think a really good action shot/facial expression combo.

The Gravure Girls series poses a unique challenge. By its nature, gravure is supposed to tease, to show as much as possible without crossing some very specific lines. Also, each of the girls has their own attitude and style. In this pic, Minami owns the room, making her intrusion into an exclusively male space with such dynamism that not even the most stuffy rules lawyer would dare raise a protest.

The point here was to sort of straddle the line between sweet and platonic affection, and physical desire. Neither girl gets to make out with the (same!) boy she wanted to, but she does get to have a moment simultaneously cute and heart-pounding with one of her best friends.

The trick in this set was to make Pinny seem like a legitimate threat even while wearing a very silly and fanservice-y outfit.

God damn Cadance looks good as a gal, doesn't she? Not much else to say on this one other than I really like how I did her hair, her outfit, her poses, the whole flow.

Squirming on a hard wooden seat while stars come from her sore bottom...poor Gabby! I think too often spanking artists (including myself) focus only on the act itself, not the lead up or the aftermath.

Speaking of...here we have an angle I really like, mere moments before three bare backsides get tanned. The scenario is quite similar to an earlier set I did:

And here we have the full flow. Waiting in fear, a paddling in progress, and vainly rubbing a burning backside, and in the background the trepidation/intimidation of knowing she could and almost certainly one day will be in the same position, all balanced against the stern discipline of the authority figure.

And one more aftermath pic, just because I love Sweetie Belle's cute little heart-shaped butt! Particularly when it's been painted that color by her hot mom's fearsome brush.

This one I'm proud of because of how complex it was, yet I was able to render it fairly easily compared to when I started out. So it's more than just seven hot girls going at it; it's also a sign that I'm getting better. Plus, you know, seven hot girls going at it!

Another action shot that also relies on expressive faces. Not much else to say, other than that I really like this one.

 This one I like despite or maybe even because of the clipping issue. It's a reminder of the limitations of both myself and the medium I work in, because it's one of those flaws that, if I tried to fix, I would just make something else even worse. So, Coco's ass looks great, just ignore her leg clipping through Flash's.

A pair of saucy poses by Applejack that I think really turned out well.

I just really like (Twilight's imagining of) Moon Dancer's reaction. Like, holy FUCK, that is supposed to fit inside?!

And finally:
