2023 Year in Review and 450th Post!

In blog as in real life, 2023 has been very up and down. After a full year, I hit both of my goals!...and then took large parts of the summer off. Posting on DeviantArt has been a serious boon to traffic!...and computer problems try to wreck my output. I have started diversifying, which brings me to: STATS!

Spanking has balanced out quite a bit from 2022. In that year, of 83 picture sets, 44 (53%) were F/f, 26 (31%) were M/f, and 9 (11%) were F/m, plus 4 oddballs. This year out of 75 sets, 33 (44%) were F/f, 24 (32%) were M/f, and 15 (20%) were F/m, and 3 spares. Share-wise, F/m nearly doubled, and while F/f is still the largest, it's under half.

I was going to put up a final challenge, to see if we could get over 50,000 hits before the New Year...but that proved unnecessary, as you already did that back on the 17th! In an amazing flurry of activity, that day racked up 1,135 hits, shattering the previous single-day record of 650. All I can say is thanks!!! December was also the second-highest month ever, after September. As of now, the total sits right at 52,900.

So with this being the 450th post, here are the numbers:

And now, the actual recap.

Very first set of the year! Hopefully I was able to combine purely sisterly affection with fanservice.

And a similar theme. Mama Velvet and her horrible hairbrush seem to just naturally bring that look out of her kids.

Nor is she afraid to wield it in public.

Now something a bit more cheery. Pinkie looks so cute and happy flashing her boobies at Mardi Gras!

Flash the waifu thief wasn't idle this year. I particularly like this one of him banging Pinny in her dad's classic pickup.

And speaking of Pinny and her dad...

Ah, Scribble Dee. Cute nerd meets smoldering temptress for one very happy Valentines Day.

A moment of affection in an otherwise trying situation. I think this one's really cute.

I really like making pictures from life. This one is pretty much a direct lift from a longtime bikini barista in the town I live in outside of Seattle.

Rarity aggressively pleasing two men. There's something very arousing about that black bra lifted up but still on while she's in cowgirl.

Both Autumn and Spitfire have this look of like, hmm, where is this headed, girl?

Two pics combined to achieve the illusion of movement, something that is always tricky. Poor Scootaloo! Not even your gym bloomers stand between you and the Vice-Principal's palm now.

Sweetie ends up in a similar situation. This framing was based on the work of someone else; I really like the effect.

And finally Apple Bloom's turn to get her bare bottom spanked. Quite a year for the CMC! Could anything serve as a finale for our three naughty lasses?

Oh yes, Sentry Claus delivering Christmas switches! I was rather proud of this whole set, as the room was constructed from scratch and therefore took much longer to make, as well as taxing the performance of the program. Did people even notice things like the nutcracker or the wall wreath or the stockings? Maybe not, but I think it was worth it just for the chance to really create something myself rather than rely on prefab sets where I simply add and pose the characters.

And here we have the initial pic that was responsible for inspiring the previous one. It started out just as "Flash Sentry is a mall Santa, long day, spanks a bratty Cozy Glow" but ended up becoming so much more. At the same time I'm happy with this one for its own merits and not just as a catalyst to the switching set.

One more bit of Christmas. The always delicious Cream Heart doing her best "Santa Baby" routine.

And then there's her mom mode. Paddled at school and then spanked at home? Poor Button won't be sitting down for a week!

One more from Cream Heart. She tries going all mama at work; her reaction says huh, this didn't go the way I thought it would. Silverstream continues to discover things about herself. Don't worry, young lady, I have plans for you in the New Year.
